GeoCoord translates location descriptions back and forth between Latitude/ Longitude, Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) and the Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) using a WGS84 ellipsoid.
Application Features
• Accepts/Displays Latitude/Longitude in the following formats:
DD.DDDDDD
DD MM.MMMM
DD MM SS.SS
• Can look up terrain elevation at specified location from the USGS elevation database (internet connection required).
• Can calculate Magnetic Variation at specified location using the International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF 2005) model.
• Can use location services to select present location (iPhone 3G and later, not available on iPod Touch).
